Course DescriptionThis course provides theoretical and practical skills training for in-service gas installers to carry out installation and commissioning of gas service pipe, flow control equipment, meter, installation pipe and gas appliances in domestic premises. After successful completion of the course, students are qualified to register as class 3 gas installers.

The course covers : Industrial safety; Basic handling of gas escape; Characteristics of gases; Introduction of gas supply systems; Operation principle & adjustment of domestic gas control apparatus; Types of domestic gas water heater; Types & installation of domestic gas meter; Introduction of electrical supply system & water supply system; Regulations and rules; Installation of gas pipe. Installation of domestic gas water heater & cooker.
