Course DescriptionThis course aims to provide theoretical and practical skills training for in-service gas installers to carry out installation of gas service pipe, meter and gas flow control equipment in domestic premises. After successful completion of the course, students are qualified to register as class 2 gas installers.

The course covers : Industrial safety; Basic handling of gas escape; Characteristics of gases; Introduction of gas supply systems; Installation & operation principle of domestic gas control apparatus; Types & installation of domestic gas meter; Hand tools & powered tools used in gas piping installation. Soundless test; Regulations and rules; Installation of gas pipe.
