| Course Description | This programme, which aims to upgrade the skills of in-service workers of lift/escalator engineering to achieve Qualifications Framework (QF) Level 2, is recognised by the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department of the HKSAR Government as satisfying the academic requirements for the registration as Registered Lift and Escalator Worker.
The programme covers: Lift Mechanical Practice; Safety, Health and Environment; Fundamental Engineering Calculations; Lift and Escalator Practice; Circuit and Measurement; Lift Maintenance; Basic Lift Control Practice; Escalator Installation and Maintenance; Electrical Materials and Industrial Electronics; Lift Installation; Single-Phase and Three-Phase Circuits; Lift and Escalator Examination and Testing; Motors and Transformers. |
